The Chinese High-Speed Rail Network Reaches 40,000 KM

The international railway gazette has reported this Chinese milestone as the country races towards its 70,000 track km goal for high-speed rail.

It is fast becoming a huge draw in much the same way as the Shinkansen in Japan with trains reaching up to 350 km/h.
